The Sabirian Empire
The Sabirian Empire controls much of the “civilized” world, and is known for both scholarship and warfare. The Sabirian Legionaires are among the most feared soldiers in the known world. A grand library is here, as well. The land produces the wonderful varieties of fruit, particularly grapes, and many suggest that the rumors of debauchery and hedonism stem from the vine.
The “state religion” is worship of twin gods, male and female, represented by a rose entwined with a belladonna flower. Other cults exist within the Empire, though, and the influence of Sabirian rule stretches for thousands of miles surrounding the coastal areas. The Emperor does not prohibit any religions save those that deny him his right to sovereignty. Most Sabirian cities are open to any race or ethnicity.
